Swakopmund Town Planning Scheme Review

Telios Namibia Consulting Engineers (Pty) Ltd. was commissioned to review of the Swakopmund Town Planning Scheme starting 1st April, 2019, and specifically to:

• Incorporate the large volume of variations made over the past 17 years into the Scheme.
• Review clauses so as to adequately address the present urban climate.
• Integrate variations into a functional document.
• Introduce new clauses that improve local governance.

The Draft Swakopmund Amendment Scheme Number 71 is presented for public awareness, public consideration and comment. Relevant documents are attached.

Comment received before the 1st June, 2020, will be submitted together with the draft Scheme to the Swakopmund Municipal Council.
